Flight Training

Jet Air Inc. has provided flight training for over 40 years.

Whether your interest is Business, Pleasure, or Professional flying, you will receive experienced, personalized flight and ground instruction.

Our knowledgeable instructors are available to meet your schedule, and are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (weather permitting).

Jet Air also provides rental in our training aircraft for certificated pilots.

To rent an aircraft you must have the following:

Current Bi-Annual Flight Review
Current Medical Certificate
Valid Driver's License
Pilot or Student Certificate

Pilots that do not have current documentation will require a flight with one of our flight instructors. Contact us today for current prices and availability.

Requirements

Private Pilot (FAR 61.103)

  • Be at least 17 years of age
  • Able to read, speak, and write in English
  • Minimum 20 hours dual flight time
  • Minimum 10 hours solo flight time
  • Minimum 40 hours total flight time
  • Pass FAA knowledge test
  • Pass FAA practical flight test
  • Obtain a third-class medical certificate

  • Commercial Pilot (FAR 61.123)

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to read, speak, and write in English
  • Hold at least a Private Pilot certificate
  • Minimum 250 hours total flight time
  • Pass FAA knowledge test
  • Pass FAA practical flight test
  • Obtain a second-class medical certificate

  • Instrument Rating (FAR 61.65)

  • Able to read, speak, and write in English
  • Hold at least a Private Pilot certificate
  • Minimum 40 hours dual flight time
  • Minimum 125 hours pilot in command time
  • Pass FAA knowledge test
  • Pass FAA practical flight test
  • Obtain a third-class medical certificate
